Andrea Bocelli is well-known for having brought opera to the masses. However the Italian tenor is also a philanthropist: he and his wife Veronica Berti are very involved in the foundation founded in 2011 and named after him. Its aim is to help funding medical research and fight poverty.

Their  “Break the barriers” program provides promotes projects to aid populations of Developing Countries. One such project is “Voices of Haiti”,  a Choir of Haitian children aged from 9 to 15. The choir debuted on September 15th in New York performing along with Andrea Bocelli.

The concert acted as a prelude to the high level meeting at the UN on the following day: the World Childhood Foundation USA and the Permanent Missions of Sweden and Italy, together with the help of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, convened an exceptional group of global leaders for “Solutions to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for Children.”

We knew of the participation of Dean and Dan to charitable causes like Amfar, but it was a lovely surprise to find out that on Thursday night, all these children were dressed in Dsquared2!
