This season at Dsquared2 we find – both in the men and women’s collection – the muddy jeans, concept which was already present in the women’s “Glastonbury” collection (spring/summer 2012)
These are statement pieces, not everyone can get away with it, however they can look pretty cool if you live in the city. If you live in the sticks nobody would bat an eye as you’ll just look like you were out milking the cows.
I am just a little concerned over the mud effect: will it withstand washing?
The official website states for these items (I added the bold fonts): “Do not dry clean Do not iron Do not bleach Do not wash Do not tumble dry“. OK so you can’t wash them…but you can’t get them dry cleaned either?
Now I don’t know about you but personally I like to wash my clothes every now and then. However if doing so means actually cleaning the mud (which in all fairness is what normal people do after a festival), that could be a problem…
